Privacy policy

1. Data we process

Account: name, email, and, if you use Google, the data that sign-in shares with us.

Event: title, date, place, invitation text and images, guest list (name and, if applicable, email), and RSVPs.

Payments: order identifiers and payment status from dLocal. We do not store the full card number.

WhatsApp: if you link your number, we use that connection only to send the invitations you authorize and to show delivery status. Your contacts’ phone numbers are not stored as personal data on our servers; details are in /privacidad#contactos-whatsapp.

Event photos: if the album is on, guests can upload photos for that event.

Contact: name, email, and message from the form or an email to hola@invita.fun.

Technical use: language, approximate connection country, and landing analytics (page views, clicks) to improve the product. We may also use ad tags (for example Google Ads or Meta) to measure campaigns.

2. Why we use it

To provide the service (design, send, RSVP, photo album).

To charge through dLocal and handle refunds or complaints.

To answer questions and provide support.

To meet legal duties and prevent fraud.

To understand how the site is used and, where relevant, measure advertising.

3. Who we share it with

Processors needed to operate: hosting, transactional email, image generation, dLocal for payments, and WhatsApp according to the link you make.

We do not sell guest, customer, or WhatsApp contact lists.

4. Retention and rights

We keep data while the account or event is active and for any extra period the law requires (for example billing records).

WhatsApp contact phone numbers are not retained in the database: they stay in the browser cache. On the server, each contact is referenced by an identifier.

You can request access, correction, or deletion by emailing hola@invita.fun or using the contact form. Some legal duties may prevent immediate deletion of payment records.

5. WhatsApp contacts and phone numbers

Invita does not store your WhatsApp contacts’ phone numbers as personal data in its database. In our systems each contact is referenced by an identifier, not by the number.

The phone number stays only in the cache of the browser you use to view the address book, pick recipients, and send. If you clear that cache or use another device, that local address book is not copied onto our servers.

Your own number — the one you link to connect WhatsApp — is associated with your account to keep that session and show send status. That does not include your contact address book.

When you send, the message goes out from your WhatsApp account. WhatsApp (Meta) processes the message destination under its own policies. Invita does not use those numbers to build a contact database and does not sell them.
